Cross Country Ski Group - Winter 2006 |
Slide into winter wonderland! Tall trees covered in fresh snow, winding trails through quiet woods and the chatter of chickadees make for the perfect cross-country ski adventure. Join fellow outdoor adventurers and share the experience. A great way to exercise, cross-country skiing is also a fun way to see God's creation in her finest winter dress. |
Where: Conservation Areas such as Pinehurst Lake, Rattlesnake Point and Kelso region; possible
ventures to Pinery or Grey/Bruce |
When: Saturdays 1:00-3:00 pm,
every
2nd week,
Jan-March, dates chosen to match optimal snow conditions |
Who: adults (also youth age 13+ accompanied by parent) |
Requirements: basic skiing ability, trail fees, cross-country ski equipment
(rentals possible at some locations) |
